A stereo ring modulator, with sweepable tempo-synced modulation.
A ring modulator works by multiplying the original signal with a modulation signal. Here that signal is a sine wave, which can be swept between two frequency points, and synchronised to the song tempo.
Although quite a straightforward design, this effect is useful for addding interest to pads, strings or long sweeping synth lines. Try out the presets with a lush pad sound as a starting point.
